The bathrooms need updated but we had a pleasant stay. The indoor pool and hottub was a winner for the grandkids and the adults! Not far from House On The Rock which is why we chose this hotel for our stay.
The man working was so wonderful to work with. The rooms were clean. Its was a wonderful weekend there.
The whole place was so clean!! I’ve never been to a hotel pool that was as clean before. The pool was warm and not dreadfully cold. The hot tub was so amazing and it creates bubbles which my kids loved. The beds were a little stiff for my liking but that’s just me. The breakfast was soooo good! Biscuits and gravy and homemade cinnamon waffles? Come on! The crew was so amazing and attentive. I will be booking this place again
This is a wonderful hotel that I have stayed in several times. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and refreshed daily by housekeeping. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is nice with waffles, pastries, cereal, eggs, sausage, yogurt, bananas and a coffee station. The pool and hot tub are great for adults and kids with the pool water kept at a comfortably warm temperature and everything looking clean. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to my next stay in Dodgeville.
Stayed here after leaving House on the Rock, great area, close to all kinds of restaurants, rooms were very clean, bed was SO COMFORTABLE, good night sleep and couldn't hear any outside noise, swimming pool was warm and awesome along with their hot tub, and for a morning breakfast that was included was delicious didn't take any pics but trust me it was GREAT fresh coffee with all kinds of coffee creams, scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, toast bagels, etc, waffles oatmeal pkgs name brand Quaker Oats, apple and orange juice, different cold cereals, pastries too, oh and cooler with yogurt and other stuff, PLUS staff very friendly and nice. YOU will not be disappointed in staying here, plus dog friendly.
Stayed for the weekend for some peace and quiet. That’s what we got. Brought my small Cavapoo and she had lots of room behind the hotel to wonder and sniff around for bunnies. My husband enjoyed the breakfast each morning and the restaurant choices nearby. Our room was pleasant, clean and comfortable; nothing fancy but everything we needed for a weekend respite.
This probably was the best Americinn that we have stayed in. Looks like recently remodeled. Breakfast was simple but very clean. If I had to complain, it would be the hot tub appeared a bit rusty but I understand that the soil/water is like that in this area. I would definitely return.
Spent a long weekend; great centrally located place to explore the area. Clean, quiet. Hot breakfast with eggs, waffles, bagles, yogurt, juice, etc. Friendly, helpful staff. Only issue was WiFi. It connected with reasonable speed but seemed to drop hourly and it was difficult to reach the sign-in screen, averaging about 30 minutes each time it dropped. So, if you are streaming music, or trying to use a computer or tablet, this may be an issue and annoyance. Other than that, I would have given it a 5 star rating!
